Okay...I know....it has been a few days since I last posted....9, but whose counting? Things have been busy and I just didn't make blogging a priority, plus there wasn't really much going on. Here are the highlights:
*Meghan got her first boy gift for Valentine's Day. Noah got her a stuffed puppy dog and a cute card. She was on cloud 9....still is....lol.
*Trey is learning to recognize his name at school. I made name cards at my school for him and the rest of us and he does a pretty good job of remembering whose name goes with who.
*Lily is so excited to be heading on a field trip tomorrow....she has been waiting for weeks! They are going to our local children's museum.
*Meghan participated in a solo/ensemble for our state. I assume it is done all over the state. She did a solo and got distinguished (which is the highest you can get!) Great job Meghan!
*School is going pretty well for me. Keeps me busy, but the warmer weather we had today helped so we could go out to play.
*I am working on getting clothes/stuff together for a consignment sale in March...that is taking some time!!!
*Daniel is getting into his new job...keeps him busy and he has worked late a few days, but he seems to like it.
That is pretty much our updates on life recently....I am hoping for a quiet weekend!

Our Valentine Weekend....
This weekend Meghan had her last Speech team tournament. She did not make it to state, but was so excited her BF Katie made it....congrats Katie! Meghan did have a couple of her friends over to spend the night on Saturday, so I am sure the whole speech team was forgotten. Come to find out her boyfriend, Noah, had tried to contact her to do something on V-day, but they missed each other. Oh well...
Lily got a LPS (Littliest Pet Shop) toy for V-day and Trey got a baseball glove. We decided it was better than him wearing his mittens when he wanted to play baseball. He also got a little Nerf hoop/ball. He absolutely loves playing with his babbitball! He is such a sports nut! He will say "Mommy...watch!" and then tries to slam dunk it! I know we need to get him his own big boy hoop someday. Daniel and I watched a movie and that was about it. He got me breakfast this morning and made the kids breakfast, which was nice for me to be able to stay in bed...at least for a little while!
Today we met up with Erin, Ethan, Finley, and Rory at Mickey D's to eat lunch and play. They were up visiting for a week and braving our colder weather! It was nice to have all the cousins together. I hate that we don't see them more often! I am so thankful this week will be a short one! The faster we are out of February, the faster we are closer to spring and the weather it brings! This was our last "holiday" until spring break! Only 6 more weeks!

They Can Be So Funny.....
As a teacher, you hear sooo many things. Working with young children, I hear the darndest things....for example:
Today:
Msg over the intercom: Mrs. M or Mrs. O, there is a cute little boy up here in the foyer...could someone please come up and get him, we are short staffed this morning?
Teacher: Sure...someone is on their way
Another Student (male): But Mrs. K, I am right here! How can I be up there?
This little boy is in my team teacher's class....he is quite a character and obviously has been told by someone that he is a cute little boy...LOL.
